| Pennies Garage Sale Cleo Rockcliffe Gospel Temple Phoenix Interact Club |
Phoenix Interact Club - The biggest thank you to this wonderful group of young adults for their hard work and raising monies for the shelter. They came to the Shelter for a tour and here is what they had to say:
Donations are especially needed right now as we are full to the roof and needing help in reducing those numbers. Remember, only with adoptions we can see space made, and only with vet care being done do we see adoptions. We appreciate your help May 22,
2013 Rockcliffe Gospel Temple - Join us this Saturday May 25th to get great deals on goodies for pets and their people. OSAS will be at the Rockcliffe Gospel Temple for a great sale at 4th Ave., West, #10 (across from Greenwood Cemetery) with new pet items at used prices.
All proceeds will be used to help us make a difference for those in need. Remember, we can't do what we do without you. Please stop by and make a donation. Here's some of the great items you will see.
The shelter is struggling more now than ever before, with more homeless and fewer adoptions. May 21,
2013 Cleo
- One of our adoptors writes:
"Thank you for the lovely well behaved "junior mint". We like her a lot and she is winning over our other cat with her amazing social skills.
I have decided to call her Cleo for her beauty. She is enjoying being outside under supervision and exploring her new home. She is purring lots and giving lots of kitty kisses. You did a great job in keeping her healthy and happy. Many thanks.

2013 Garage Sale - Sun, bargains, great food, great entertainment and a great cause, this is what we love to do. Once again the Owen Sound Animal Shelter is teaming up with Bayshore Broadcasting for a garage sale RAIN OR SHINE! 'Want to sell some of your garage sale items? Come join us! You can buy a spot (only $20 per table, with a portion of the proceeds going to charity). We'll supply the table, the venue, the advertising and the fun! You just show up with your items for sale! Plan to attend on Saturday, May 25th from 8am - 2pm at the Rockcliffe Gospel Temple church in Owen Sound
(10 4th Avenue West). We will be there with goodies for pets and their people, raising money to give homeless a new leash on life.
There will be food provided by the Grilled in
Action food truck, music, and baked goods. There will also be great deals and unique items to purchase.

2013 Pennies - The biggest thank you to Chesley District High School, the community of Chesley and especially Jasmin Stoll for the Pennies for the pound fundraiser. Jasmin a grade 11 student spearheaded the fundraiser, and she and her class, Mrs. Walkers, successfully raised 91.00 in pennies!
Mr. Dunbears class raised the second highest amount, and both classes were treated to pizza. A grand total of 501.83 was raised. That's a whole lot of pennies!! Thank you to Royden who did the majority of rolling.
Thank you for helping us make a difference. Cougars do care :)
