Annual Egg Hunt - Please join us this Saturday at the Grey Roots museum, where we once again will be celebrating spring and Easter for the fifth annual Egg hunt.

As always OSAS will be raising funds to help homeless animals get a second chance. For the first time AandA photography will be on hand to provide photographs for children with live pets. (Three photos for the price of ten dollars with proceeds to OSAS) Also for the first time there will be balloon animals by donation. Face painting, Amazing animal Show, a bake sale and of course the Eggcellent Egg hunt. 

The events start at 11 and run until 2, but doors open at 10:30. Come early to avoid big lines. Thank you to the Mix for once again providing this opportunity, New Orleans Pizza for the sponsorship of the event and all those involved in the prep work.

We're Back! - Today marked the first day of spring. With that came a cat release, and with her six kittens. An emergency c-section on a Shepherd brought us a puppy, and although the snow is blowing, we know the season is changing.

We celebrate the end of the cold, frostbite and starvation season, with half happy hearts. We know that with the end of the dark days, literally, comes dogs running, cats running, both in season and with that comes of course reproduction.

Our busy times are fast approaching. As we hope for a season with all things good we prepare for the alternatives. With that comes our next fundraiser.

And OSAS will be saving lives while starting a few too. Homeless animals will thrive while we watch our plants blossom :) The first day of spring brings our next fundraiser. Please join us in the sale of plants, bulbs and gardening goods, or perhaps cookbooks for goods of other kinds? Sale packages available at OSAS. Orders may be made online also. Contact us for details. Fundraiser will end last day in April
