Renee, Thanks for your kind thoughts. My Dad was the 'ultimate' Dad, he hardly ever raised his voice ... even though I did test him on occasion when I was in my teens. He loved animals too, even though he was allergic to Cat fur, he let us bring the "critters" home. Our family requested that donations go to Rotary Kids Camp and the OS Animal Shelter. I think there was 20-25 donations made during the visitation to the Shelter. That would be OK with him. He loved to have his twice a week visit with Duchess, I think Duchess knew he was sick, she went right to him every time and leaned on him while Dad scratched her ears. By now you know, Brenda sent some excess flowers to you. I would be interested in knowing how much was donated to the shelter at the funeral home. Thanks again, Steve

Beloved best friend of Sherri, Warren, and Christopher.

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you our beloved Diesel passed away yesterday Feb 20th, 2009 from bone cancer. He was an amazing dog. We have you to thank for the time we had with Diesel. Thank you for calling us from the Shelter to [come out to] adopt him.

It is with extreme sadness that I have to announce the passing of my beloved "Bear". She has been my constant companion for the last 13 years. She will be forever in my heart as she is part of me, I feel like part of me has died. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
