Found Dec 4/09 - black, 4-6 month old kitten, female, no collar. Found around 2nd Avenue West between 11th and 13th Street. If this is your kitten, please call 519-372 9476.

Found a black and white male neutered cat about 2 years old near the west side of Owen sound's downtown area. The cat followed a couple teenagers and was picked up by them and carried to Shoppers Drug Mart on 10th St. west. We took the cat from the teenagers and are trying to locate the owners asap. Please call 519-794-0965 if you are missing a cat that meets this description. The cat is very friendly and gentle.

I have found this beautiful orange, white and black female cat on Friday March 12 on the west side of Owen Sound. She looks to be no more then a year old. If this is your cat, she is doing very well. Please call 519-372-2143. REUNITED WITH OWNER. Posted May 11, 2010

FOUND ... Meaford area, spayed female, was "hanging around" three weeks. Thin, and appears older ( 7 or 8 years old??). Contact the Shelter for more information.

Found a male Cocker Spaniel at our home near Bass Lake. Call 519-534-4792. He is blonde and very friendly - no collar.

Please help this sweety. This young FEMALE cat came to our home in the Sarawak area on Wed night July 30 Is in good shape just a little thin. Is very people friendly. May have recently had kittens. This cat is healthy, and misses its people...it was a little reluctant to come to us but only took a wee bit of coaxing. Pictures are attached. He was found on the boundary of Saugeen Shores/Kincardine. Male, 6 mo., un-neutered, 12" at the shoulder, 20lbs, if you get any calls from SS about him.......... give me a call. (396-2287). He's very adoptable and I have someone willing to take him if the owner doesn't show within 4 days.

This lovely yellow/orange female cat is quite petite and delicate, has claws, and is a little shy. She was found outside of Sweetpea Wholesome Baby in downtown Owen Sound on Thursday morning, September 16. She was drenched and miserable, and made a dash for the door as soon as I went in. She looks well cared for and wasn't hungry, but any attempt to put her back outside and she freaked. No collar. Please call (519)-376-4414 if you think she might be yours!

FOUND:two small cats/kittens in the Lake Eugenia area while staying at Cedars Cottage Resorts. They appear to be sisters, maybe 9 mos old. Tan with black stripes. FOUND: a male stray cat that has been here for the past 2 weeks, he had on a red collar. He is missing a paw and part of his tail, he is very affectionate and friendly. FOUND: Followed us home from 3rd Avenue West and 12th Street West on October 30th. The front claws are declawed, but this kitty has obviously been out there for a while, she's quite thin and has a bit of sniffles and an upset tummy. Eyes are pale green/yellow, One ear is orange and one is black with a sort of quartered black and orange pattern on the top of the head. No tags or collar. FOUND: This fellow was seen sneaking out of someone's motor home/camper trailer while they stopped for fuel in Meaford, Ontario. This happened in August 2010. He has some brown tinges throughout his coat. He was being fed by someone this whole time but that was it. We recently took him in and have taken him to the vet to check for a microchip which was not present. He has been de flea'd and de wormed and on the road to recovery. We have decided to take care of him until we find his rightful owners which I am sure miss him terribly. He was obviously well taken care of and loved. He is such a sweet heart. FOUND: This cat appears at our deck, late every nite for the past 2 wks. It eats any and all food that I've left out for it. It's quite shy and disappears if I open the door. FOUND: little one weaving slowly on the road east of Carlsrue. He was nearly hit by a truck. When we pulled over the dog came to us quickly and jumped into our car! He was exhausted and freezing with mats of ice in his fur. He was very friendly and trusting and seemed well fed. We spent hours going to all the homes in the area but no one recognized him. FOUND: Small Black and Tan MALE beagle X about a year old from what the vet has told us. He was found on on the county line between Tara and Chesley playing on the road. FOUND: This young lady wandering around our property on Monday May 2, at approx 3:00pm on County Rd 11 in Shelburne. She was with another dog who unfortunately ran off when approached. The other dog never came back, but she stuck around all day. No one in the area, including vets and shelters seem to know who she is or of anyone looking for her. She has no tags and is not chipped. FOUND: A cat came to our house. Male who has been declawed and neutered. Could be approximately 7 years old. Very friendly, lovable and looking for his family. He is Maine Coon and colouring is black with greyish-brownish colours. Area is 8th Avenue East and 23rd Street East in Owen Sound. His one ear is down due to scar tissue growth. FOUND: lovely black labX (???) Sat June 4 around 8 am near the Owen Sound Library in the middle of that huge thunderstorm. She is black/brown with a white stripe on her chest ,She is small/medium size looks like she has had a litter of pups in the past, she is wearing a plain chain collar with no tags. FOUND: On July 25, 2011 a young male pure black cat strayed into our home. He is someone's pet as he is very very affectionate. He has not been neutered and he has a very runny nose. He is also extremely thin, I am thinking around the 2 pounds and he should be way more for the size of him. We found this male Grey Tabby around our home on Aug 19th in the 8th Street ‘A’ and 7th Avenue East area. He is Grey Tabby, with a white chin and little white on his tail. Green eyes. We think he has been hurt – he doesn't like to be picked up. We’ve been feeding him since Sunday and was extremely hungry. Found a cat behind old school (Strathcona). She is a ginger colour, extremely affectionate, gentle and curious. She seems to be of good health, but was curled up in a ball in slush, or I would have left her alone. She has golden eyes and a pink nose. I ... have a... cat who has been hanging around our house for at least a week now. ... She is a tortoiseshell, very dark with orange running through. Has an orange spot over one eye. We had a pretty white cat with black spots follow us home tonight from the festival of the lights. She walked all the way down 12th st west with us and right up to our door. I've posted it on fb and kijiji. I couldn't get it to sit still to take a good picture but I've attached the best of what I could get.
