Hello Renee. I checked the Toronto shelter’s website last night, and they feel they’ve been vindicated. All 1100 animals in their care had been vet checked and the prognosis/diagnosis the shelter had originally made was in agreement with that of the vets rechecking these creatures. It’s really too bad the news couldn’t reflect the wonderful job THS does do. Those of you who work/volunteer for the OSAS, give yourselves a pat on the back and a big hug! You all do a great job and the animals that come through your doors owe their lives to you. Martha S.
