I had a student come to me today to tell me about her neighbour's cat who had been hit by a car, and who had been taken to "the pound." She told me about how this cat was not dead, and how it used to play with her cat, who is now gone. I asked her if the cat was orange, and sure enough, it was. His name is Bill, she said.
