Hi, just wanted to let you know that the girls are at the vets in Toronto now. We managed to get them down to the city and hopefully we'll hear tonight how they are doing. Renee, Bete peed all over herself on the way down.. Poor girl.. They are such good girls, hopefully the vet can make them feel better and they will get a new lease on life. Cathy C.

I was once again sickened when I heard about the horrendous conditions these babies came from. Time and time again we hear about the deplorable conditions these poor animals must live in. Why is it that these irresponsible breeders are allowed to carry on, business as usual while animals are suffering and wallowing in waste? Way to go JRT Rescue and Owen Sound Animal Shelter. These girls needed immediate care and now they will get it. My thoughts and prayers are with these little girls. I hope we hear an update soon. Renee L

why do you call them breeders --- a breeder is someone who cares for their animals & loves them --- these dogs are from a puppy mill (from the note of the 14th) sorry --- I get very upset when I see the results of puppy mills-- :-( Sandy K.

All I can say is that may God Bless you and all those that go out and save these little furkids that have been placed in such danger. I am a firm supporter of our local shelter and have elected to adopt our dogs rather then purchase from a breeder. Our last two a puppy, and a senior dog who had been overlooked and passed by for way too long. The joy and love these guys bring to our life's our something that can never be repaid. I wish people would learn that pets are not toys, and it is not mandatory to have them. Julie
