4 Comments Renee I just read your blog, I'm sorry you were subjected to that hateful letter about pit bulls. The author seems to be the human equivalent of a fear biter, I suspect his/her upbringing was badly lacking. I have known numerous pit bulls, they were all beautiful well mannered dogs reflecting their impeccable training from conscientious owners. It's all how you're raised, the letter gave me a lot of insight as to the character of its' author. Ann Well, judging from the grammar and the spelling, you sure are right when you say that it's "uneducated, uninformed and less intelligent people who support the ban". I find it interesting that he was so eager to attack Gloria, yet didn't have the stones to leave his name. What a jerk. Christina M. Gloria, its just another fear monger out on a rampage spewing garbage just like our government politicians and media people. It never ceases to amaze me how shallow minded some people can be when it comes to this topic; how ill equipped they are about the stats on these dogs. I myself prefer to be a leader and continue to love and cherish this breed no matter what others think. I will continue to know how successful they are as therapy dogs, search and rescue dogs, drug enforcement canines, loving family members and comical clowns. I am a better person because I live with this breed and know how many smiles they have brought to me and countless others. Keep up the great work Hush….you are a true advocate to the breed.
