Good Morning Renee! My eyes are filling with tears as I read this blog…another innocent lost to ignorance and neglect. With the onset of this heat I purchase a kiddies’ pool for my dogs (all 3 are black). The youngest lies in the pool frequently. My older dogs are content to drink from it and stay in the shade. Normally I go at least 2 km daily with these dogs however, we’ve not been for a walk/run in 3 days…if it’s too hot for me it’s certainly too hot for them! I’ll say a pray for Sunny tonight. Martha S.
