How could somebody be heartless enough to do this to their dog in this kind of weather? How could they think to do it at all? I'm so glad Bandit's caretaker had the conscience to tell you the truth, at least someone was thinking of the dog's well being. (Aside from Renee of course, our animal's guardian angel!) - Jody

Will it ever end? Will human beings ever stop considering animals as lesser creatures?? Poor little Bandit! I’m sure you’ll have someone to love you forever by Christmas! (Renee, if no one comes for her, I’ll make room!). Poor little kittens…at least you had each other to help keep you warm. In the season of “Peace on Earth, and good will to men”, I suppose at least someone was considerate enough to get these animals to you…better than to be turned out to fend for themselves! Let’s hope some day cases like these become a rarity! Martha S.
