Valerie is a BC Rich Platinum series electric S/N 6253. She was my second guitar, and I also bought her while I was in Thunder Bay, for $350 CDN. She is my work horse (ie: the one I am not afraid to rip apart and rebuild).

She has a 22 fret neck with locking nut and Floyd Rose Tremelo. I have rewired her completely several times. Right now she has a stock pickup at the neck. I have replaced the middle and bridge pickups. The middle pickup is now a Dimarzio DP402 Virtual Vintage Blues doublestack humbucker. The bridge pickup was a humbucker but now I use an EMG-81 active humbucker. To compensate for the EMG-81's low impedance pots (20K instead of 500k) I've installed an EMG-PA-2 preamp booster. This stops the passive pickups response from rolling off too soon and losing the high end.
