What if you could have a Les Paul, and you only had to pay one SIXTH of the cost?

One time when 2nd Lieutenant E. Conrad was over jamming, we took a break from abusing our ears and frightening the pets, to discuss the Les Paul. Mr. Conrad and I both have LP standards, and like them very much. But with their Nitrocellulose finish and exclusive price tag, sometimes you want to admire them more than play them for fear of damaging them. As the topic of a suitable work horse type guitar came up, a daily driver kind of guitar, Mr. Conrad suggested I look at Agile guitars and pointed me to www.rondomusic.com. He originally heard of them from the furor that they were causing in the discussion threads of the Les Paul forum.

Well I didn't have much more money to spend on guitars after buying a Gibson Les Paul and house to put it in. But eventually bills seem to have a way of paying themselves off, and with a little help from my company profit sharing plan, I went back to Rondo's website.

What I found there, seemed too good to be true. They carry a number of lower end brands on their website, and the Agile line. Agile appeared to make some very convincing Les Paul copies. Since I work for an internet company, I used the resources at my disposal to try and find some information on the brand.

It didn't take me very long to find that Agile was favourably reviewed on both Harmony Central, and Guitarists.net. It seemed that everyone who bought them was overwhelmingly pleased with the guitars. So I took the plunge and ordered an AL3000 online. My experience with Rondo was excellent. Kurt there is a master of customer service and my guitar arrived within 4 days of ordering, from New Jersey, no less.
