Red
is the colour of meditation for the first day of
Christmas according to Steiner. I see red as the colour
of anger ...of passion and of power. I think for us to be able to use
that power, we have to be able to overcome our ego; and of what, we think the
world should be.(or we should be) We have only glimpses and then our ego
takes over and we decide how it should be and makes it an illusion. It is
very hard to let go of your ego..........With it comes our pride and our
knowing of who we are......................it is a
very difficult place to always be striving for perfection because you have no
sense of who you are. And then there is the centre of the quiet knowing
with faith that you are being lead and supported by the holy spirit. You
are who you are and everything is perfectly right for what you need to
know...........you need not to strive...........you need not your
pride......you can let go and all will be fine(easier said than done) but
something I think we need to journey towards.........
We
are all one and the same.........your struggles , my
struggles, the unknown friends struggles. Miracles happen we realize that
we aren't separate but one......and the fragmentation becomes whole. I
pray blessing for you and I pray a blessing for the unknown as we journey
towards our wholeness.
Thoughts
about the first day of Christmas
Lisa
Red, the
call for action in a hurry! Inexperienced, the action will be rash, red
will bring embarrassment. Experienced, the action will be full of passion
and measured enthusiasm. Full of hate, the action will bring revenge and
even blood. Filled with love, the action is quick and unfailing like
a mother's response to a child's danger. With unconditional love, the
action cools the red with hues of blue and transmutes it to whatever is
needed. Gluttonous, red is a rich feast. Fearful, red is a sign of
danger. Law abiding, red is the sign to stop. Free spirited, red
is the sign to explore. Each emotion, each attitude, each one of us can
see the potential in red in so many different ways.

The
third day of Christmas is represented by the colour
yellow. Yellow is a difficult colour to see
against the light. On a white or light
filled background yellow fades away. I see yellow as the colour of hope and the colour of
peace. These two elements can only come together with love. Love
you neighbour as yourself(of
course if you can't love yourself............then there are problems) I
would hazard a guess that wars are caused by nations not loving themselves and
their mankind. Yellow is close to the colour of
gold.....an earthly element.....alchemist have
tried to make it......some may have even succeeded. We all have that
potential to create gold.....I pray a blessing for all who receive this may you
find your vein of gold and may peace and hope and love come to you, or be with
you.
Lisa
Yellow
runs the gamut between indecision and peace. It is the color of the fifth
chakra, the throat, the place of voicing a choice. With a closed fifth
chakra, yellow is a sign of weakness; opened, it is strength conjoined with
serenity. Like all the other colors, when weak, the problems stay within
the individual. When strong, the blessings radiate to everyone.
Just as orange transmutes to saffron, yellow transmutes to gold, as Lisa noted
it above as a potential. A primary color, yellow dominates the summer
wild flowers.

The
fourth day of Christmas is represented by the colour
green. I think of the green of trees. I also think of forests and
moss. Then this brings me to my most favourite
spots of the
Lisa
Green
must be one of most calming colors of the rainbow. It is the color of the
open heart where experience and intellect meet, where the Master
or God within mediates between these two, potentially conflicting,
ways of living our lives. Green is the color of life. Even on the
cultural level, green is the go-ahead, all clear color. But
where the heart has not opened, it becomes the color of envy and
covetousness. Although every color has its myriad shade, green in the
summer is the richest color: not only the color of vegetation, but the
individuality of every leaf, every blade of grass in their course through the
sunlight and shadow of each day, creating life.

Dear
friends,
Blue is the
colour of the fifth day of Christmas. It
reminds me of the colour of Chamomile oil.
Chamomile is a healing balm for those who have hurt themselves and are raw and
wounded. When a person is blue , they are
usually wounded also. Maybe if people quietly
reflect and allow this blue feeling to overcome them instead of fearing it or
fighting it. They would be able to heal themselves. Blue
is my favourite colour.
I pray a blessing to all of those who receive this. For the
fifth day of Christmas.
Lisa
Blue is the
color of our planet, our sky on clear days. Blue is also intellectual
clarity. That clarity can be emotionally clouded as we go through our
circadian cycles. Lisa noted that blue is for reflecting. Without
that activity, it turns cold. Sex without passion
gives rise to blue movies. Blue without clarity brings us gender typing
like 'blue for boys and pink for girls'.

Dear Friends,
The sixth day of christmas
is represented by the colour indigo. Indigo is
representational of new generation of children. Children
who are sensitive to, and over stimulated to, many things that our culture
espouses. Maybe they are a new tribe, asking us to change our
ways, for the sake of everyone's' well being. I see indigo as the colour of the night sky. This colour
reflects to us the stars and the moon. A way of knowing
if we wish to choose it. As of above, so is below.May
we be in harmony with the cosmos. This is what I
pray for the 6th day of christmas.
Lisa
Indigo is one of the strangest, most difficult
colors for me. For most of my life, it represented duplicity: the
indigo paper made copies when placed between two sheets of paper. By the
time I discovered it had spiritual meaning, indigo became the Janus face, able to see both forwards and backwards.
As such, indigo allows us to reconcile polarities and walk the path where all
things are possible, where no one needs to be polarized and cleave only to one
dogma, to one god, to one person.

The
seventh day of Christmas is represented by the colour
violet. The colour of violet is special to me.To me, it represents special gifts. Has one ever
tasted candied violets? These are a sweet flowers that bloom shortly
after the snow has melted, and the earth begins to warm. When
I see violets, it is my celebration time, of the passing of winter. This is also a colour of
lent. A Christian celebration about the passing of
Christ. Some would see this as also a special gift. In
his death, Christians believe that everyone is able to enter the kingdom
of heaven. It is also the colour of amethyst a
semi precious stone. This stone has been used on adornments of royal
things.........crowns, rings staffs. Qualities of
amethyst are calming. I pray for special gifts to be received by all
who receive and read these thoughts for the seventh day of Christmas.
Lisa
Violet
brings to mind Spring and being precious. In Theosophy the Violet Ray
brings ennoblement of purpose. Yet, violet is so rare in everyday
life! Childhood brings a natural sense to collect the flowers.
Spiritual development brings a special love for amethyst. But an
uncontrolled urge to possess brings an unbridled lust to seek its power at all
costs.

Lilac is
the colour of the eighth day of Christmas.
Mountains are often viewed as lilac in colour.
This based on the perception of seeing. Often perceptions can be veiled,
with a mistiness of illusion.Often people make the
mistake of "thinking" seeing is done with the eyes. I would
like to suggest that the colour lilac is a veiled colour, to remind us that seeing is a matter of alignment,
and perceptions can often be veiled. I pray a blessing for the eighth day
of Christmas, that we may all let go of our veiled way
of thinking, and align ourselves with truth.
.............the 9th day of christmas is represented
by the colour of light lilac. I can't begin to
tell you how much trouble this colour gave me.
It drew blanks and nothing, no feeling, no emotion, no thought came to me about
this colour. Then I thought, this is what the colour is suppose to do. It
is like a veil. Like magician's smoke. A colour
that gentle persuades you into seeing something, that
is not. A haze to take you to a dream like place.
We all need to go to that "place"; however very few of us ever have
the courage to face that haze, and walk through it. It is a magical walk
that can take you to magical places. The journey is not easy to guarded
veiled land. I pray a pray for all to be able to have the heart to walk
though the veils.
Lisa
Peach Blossom is the colour of the
10th day of Christmas. I have had no difficulty with this colour. I like it very much; however it is not my favourite colour. This colour represents to me our hamanity.
The colour of our skin.
And even flesh has inperfections and blemishes, all
part of our humanity. Skin contains our muscles blood, chyle and lymph, and when we break the container we
bleed. Some of our wounds can not been seen to most eyes. I have
seen yellowed skin caused by years of worry. May we all have the peach
blossom glow of health.
